Elevator reader planning guide

1. Confirm the integration

Record the access control and elevator platforms, required interface and division of responsibilities. Define how floor authorization is passed and how failures are handled.

2. Coordinate the assembly

Provide panel drawings, faceplate material, available depth and mounting details. Check antenna clearance, cable routing, service access and the effect of metal surrounding the reader.

3. Review a sample

Test the selected credentials with a sample of the proposed assembly. Confirm user feedback, read performance and the interface to the host system.

4. Record acceptance

Document the approved module, drawings, software settings, sample results and site tests before repeating the assembly across the project.
