Installation and configuration guidance

Use the current model-specific instructions and approved project drawings. This guide supports planning; it does not replace the wiring diagram for the ordered model.

1. Confirm the model, revision, credential technology and controller interface.
2. Check supply voltage, current budget, cable type, distance and grounding requirements.
3. Verify mounting dimensions, clearances and environmental ratings.
4. Configure the interface, address, baud rate and credential format as applicable.
5. Test authorized and unauthorized credentials, indication outputs, tamper signals and loss-of-power behaviour.
6. Record settings and test results for the project handover.
